Using Plainspoken
Plainspoken is a text-based AI assistant for research, writing, learning, and programming. You must be at least 18, have authority to accept these terms, and comply with the Acceptable Use Policy. Protect access to your email and account. You are responsible for the material you submit and must have authority to share it.
AI capabilities and your content
Responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. Verify important information, especially before consequential decisions. This is not a substitute for qualified professional advice. We aim to reduce unnecessary refusals on legitimate topics but do not guarantee a particular answer, availability, model, or result.
You retain the rights you hold in your inputs. You authorize the operator and necessary service providers to process inputs and outputs to deliver replies, maintain history, enforce service policies, and meet legal obligations. Output rights and commercial use depend on applicable law and provider terms; no promise of originality or exclusive rights is made.
The selected inference provider is Venice AI. Its terms also affect how the service can be used. The Privacy Policy explains the data flow.
Free trial
The trial provides 3 anonymous responses and 10 total responses after registration, including anonymous responses already used. This is a lifetime allowance, not a daily or monthly free plan. No card is required and it does not automatically convert to paid access. Do not create multiple identities to evade limits.
The monthly subscription
The current new-subscription price is $14.99 USD per month, plus any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Existing subscriptions may have an earlier price, shown in the account and billing portal. There is one monthly plan and no annual commitment.
A subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. Stripe processes payments, and access is enabled only after verified billing confirmation. Failed payments can suspend paid access. Any material price or subscription change must be communicated as required before it applies.
Response limits
Pro includes up to 1,500 generated responses per paid monthly billing period. The allowance resets on your actual billing cycle, shown in your account, rather than on the first day of the calendar month. Unused responses do not roll over.
Each request allows approximately 8,192 input tokens across instructions and conversation context, and up to 1,024 output tokens. Tokens are pieces of text, not words; language and formatting affect the count. Older conversation context may be trimmed to fit. A saved conversation is not a promise that every earlier message is sent to the model.
Regenerating a reply uses another response. A reply that has started generating counts even if you stop it or it ends early. A failure before any answer text is generated does not use a response. Rate limits and temporary service limits may also apply. There is no automatic paid overage.
Cancellation and refunds
Manage payment details and cancel future renewals through the billing portal in your account. Cancellation normally preserves access through the confirmed paid-through date, shown in your account, unless a refund or other billing event changes access. Cancel before the next renewal to stop the next scheduled charge.
Cancellation does not itself issue a refund. Refund eligibility and request instructions are on the Refund Policy page. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. No seven-day or other commercial refund window is offered until the operator approves and publishes it.
Service limits and enforcement
Rate limits, provider availability, abuse controls, and temporary service interruptions can affect access. Requests may be refused and accounts restricted or suspended for misuse, nonpayment, security issues, or legal requirements. There is no guarantee that every request will be fulfilled. Contact support about a disputed restriction or unavailable paid service.
Privacy and account deletion
The Privacy Policy explains storage, third-party processing, optional marketing analytics, and deletion limits. Resolve active billing before deleting the account. We do not promise zero retention or end-to-end encryption.
These terms do not remove rights that applicable law makes mandatory. Operator-specific legal provisions and policy approval remain pending wherever the pre-launch notice above is displayed.
